Situated in Chittlehamholt, Umberleigh, Devon, The Mole Resort spans 25 acres of pristine Devonshire countryside, offering an exceptional blend of luxurious stays and active days out. Boasting a 9-hole golf course, two restaurants, event and conference facilities, treatment rooms, and a myriad of unique activities like archery, tennis, swimming, fishing, axe throwing, pottery, arts and crafts and much more, The Mole Resort stands out as a South West gem.
We first collaborated with The Mole Resort team when developing a tee signage solution for their 9-hole golf course. The success of this project paved the way and soon led to the creation of comprehensive signage across the entire resort.
Working closely with The Mole Resort team, we crafted a series of solutions that harmoniously reflected the outstanding beauty of the resort.
A standout feature across the whole scheme was the introduction of our proprietary innovative wood plastic composite product Isitwood. With its traditional hardwood appearance and low maintenance requirements, it became a unifying element across the resort and a game changer for the grounds maintenance team.
Our collaboration with The Mole Resort encompassed a wide variety of signage applications, including Golf Tee Signs, Directional Signs, Entrance Signs, Parking Posts and General Wayfinding. Arguably the most eye-catching are the impressive Entrance Signs, featuring Isitwood posts, aluminium box sign panels, and a solar-powered extruded downlighting unit which creates an elegant entrance to the resort both day and night. Additionally, a row of Isitwood LED Bollards illuminates the driveway, ensuring a consistent brand image from the point of entry and creating a welcoming, safe, and well-lit thoroughfare.
Our close collaboration with The Mole Resort team continues, and our partnership remains dynamic, with ongoing exploration of new signage challenges as they arise. This ensures the resort retains a consistent brand image and preserves its distinctive character and charm.
